Welcome to the first OXPO for 2020
This year sees a very different style of OXPO. Students have completed work in Term 1, but due to COVID-19 Lockdown our OXPO has become a digital OXPO.
All students in Term 1 Completed a unit of work called Me, Myself and I. This work was based around learning about where you come from, and what makes up all the parts of you. To do this students completed 4 major activities over the term. What you see below is the work students have provided for the OXPO.
The Technology learning that occurred in Term 1 was around the Technological Process and Designing and building the Family Crest and MySpace. In each case students could choose the shape, materials and structure of both of these pieces. The end Goal being the built model where possible of their MySpace or Family Crest.
The Social Science learning in this unit was around researching and understanding different cultures and learning about family histories and origins. This was to help students get understanding of place and themselves and the parts of History that have shaped their families.
